Conseptagons:

Conseptagons is a group of active members that has played at all renowned clubs of Vienna since 2007.

The compositions of their lead singer Mr.T. are moving into a new direction by funky influences of the drummer Ken and of the bass player Dominik, underlined by hot African rhythms.
They launched the genre "Funk-Reggae" and because the musicans come from different nations, there is a constant come-together of different sound worlds.

In 2011 a journalist wrote that, he was literally carried directly in front of the stage by the baseline.
This led to winning the "famous award" at the "Donauinselfest".
That was only one of the numerous contests on the list of Conseptagons.

The name of the band is their own creation and a wordplay.
The first thought was a Consept of seven musicans, who unite ideas, while everyone makes his/her contribution.

In that way, many songs were created which now are presented by Conseptagons on each gig.
But there are not only their own songs on the program.
Conseptagons also take well-known songs and combine them with their own way and groovy rythms.

Don't forget the keyboard at the melodic rhythm's of drums and solo-guitar which are important in the repeating melody-motives of "FunkRegaae". The African pianist and allround-musican Joe is playing the keyboard with heart and soul.

Peter from Salzburg play's the solo-guitar. He studied at the conservatory in Vienna, mastered his craft, and put's all of his soul directly to the stage.

The band Consepatagons is known for their really personal Reggae, which mixes with Funk and Soul.

Vocally the band has even more to offer.
Ms.T., representing their topics through their songs, is supported by Verena, who is harmonizing the chorus by her strong voice.

The word Conseptagons stands for the concept of energy of a "Septagon" which, is a heptagon of seven equal length sides, according to the greek interpretation. All cornerstones are on one circle.

The band CONSEPTAGONS was founded 2006. Since this time the band did play many ocasions/locations like, Afrika Tage Festival, Szene Wien, Luftbad Jam, DAVIS, warehouse, Porgy&Bess, Fania, Apetlon, REIGEN,U4,Weberknecht and many more . Conseptagons are austrian winner of European ReggaeCont est 2009 and of femous award 2012.
